Chad Pregracke  December 2008  Dear Friends,   2008 was a challenging and rewarding year for all of us at Living Lands & Waters (LL&W).  The floods and high water tested our resiliency this year, and we had to continually adapt our schedule and activities to the rise and fall of the river.  Despite the unpredictable cond... Hey Chad, I met you years ago when I lived in Andalusia, IL accross the Mississippi from Davenport. I asked for your autograph and you signed my US Atlas on the Illinois page! Great to see you are still at it :) We hope to be able to contribute to one portion of cleaning up the environment with our cigarette butt invention (we call it "The Butt Sucker", but the patent attorneys had a hard time calling it that). Keep up the great work! Sarah

We have an invention that easily collects cigarette butts from difficult areas, like mulch beds, gravel, grass, sand, etc. Most smokers will always discard their butts carelessly. At least this gives the retailer the tool to pick up these butts from in front of their establishments without having to bend over and pick them up manually, or suck them up with big, gas guzzling machinery. Maybe we could work together? My profile will give you more info if interested. Thanks, Sarah
