So the weather outside totally sucks for it being July 1st. I kid you not, it’s thundering and the rain is a-comin’ down. I figured to lift my own mood and give you guys a few fun things to check out, I’d make this blog about Change Agent music videos. Now, there are I-don’t-even-know-how-many vids out there created by amazing musicians that speak to positive social and environmental change, but I’m just gonna talk about three today.

It’s no secret that Will.i.am is one true Agent of Change. Aside from being a fabulous artist, he’s produced a very powerful music video called “Yes We Can.” This video is very cool because it’s done as a sorta collage-style. It’s a mix of a speech President Obama gave following the 2008 New Hampshire Primary with artists and celebrities speaking and singing the lines with President Obama. Did I mention it’s also done in black and white? Quite the statement, but don’t take it from me, check it out:

3rd EyE Unlimited, a collection of artists with a vision to build a movement to improve communities and empower youth (Hello Change Agents!), has written a very cool song called Green Anthem. The hip hop beat educates about clean energies and inspires people to get moving within their communities!

This video doesn’t need much of an intro. It certainly makes Hybrids seem appealing! This is the type of media we need to focus on—it’s funny, positive, and just totally cool. Instead of telling us how we’re all doomed, what if CNN started emphasizing the positive (via awesome viral vids)? It sure would motivate me more…
