When I first entered Priest's Grotto Cave in the early 90's I had no idea of the amazing human survival story that I would eventually unearth, after some ten years of extensive research, about how 38 Jews survived the Holocaust by living underground in excess of 500 days. Today, I can now tell this remarkable story, not only as a way to honor those brave souls who lived through "the Secret of Priest's Grotto"; a "story of Triumph, not defeat"- but also as a way to make future generations aware of the evils and roots of Genocide.

As a Citizen Philanthropist for Citizen Effect,I've combined multiply passions to create an initiative where 100% of proceeds fund projects in Latin America. In '09 we impacted 300 lives, hoping for more in '10. Join me in providing access to quality education.

I am swimming over 1,500 miles down the East Coast of the United States from Maine to Washington, DC. Along the way, I am sampling the water at over 5,000 locations to measure and map the effects of pollution and Climate Change, and challenging 50,000 schoolchildren to design projects to improve the health of our ocean planet.

We are young media makers who define sustainability in terms that make sense to us. In April 2009, we embarked on a new project with our veggie diesel bus to create our fourth feature film—Green Guerrillas Blockumentary v.3 HD—which will showcase stories of sustainability from under-represented communities in the current environmental movement.

The U.S. Public Service Academy will be an undergraduate institution devoted to developing civilian leaders. Modeled on the military academies, the Academy will offer four years of tuition-free education in exchange for five years of civilian service following graduation.
