Well, it's been a few months since I was here...where do I begin?

There's a federal election on in Canada, the U.S. economy is in crisis and it's a little difficult to get the issue of autism back onto people's radar screens.  So, to make a long story short, the Ontario Autism Coalition is re-grouping right now, waiting for the next opportunity to get our concerns back in the face of the provincial government.  For now, we're putting together an on-line discussion forum to bring together parents, professionals, siblings and those who themselves have ASD to plot out strategy for the next chapter in this struggle.  In the meantime, we're all just living one day at a time.

And by the way, please don't listen to Jenny McCarthy.  She does NOT speak for the entire autism community--at all.
