I love the idea of a Memory Box Painting Party.  It sounds like a very tangible and powerful way to remember a lost loved one. If any pictures were taken of the finished products, I’d love to see them—and I’m sure your backers would as well.

Liz, Welcome to Changents. The story of your loss that was the catalyst for you and your husband to found A Small Victory is incredibly moving. I felt a tightness in my chest as I read the first couple paragraphs followed by a wave of inspiration in reading how you took ACTION. It is only in the context of my experience as a father that I have even the slightest inkling of what your experience must have been like, but it's heartening to know that one million parents can count on you to be their advocate.
