Farewell My Friends!

It saddens me to let you know that as of December 31, 2009, I have stepped down from my post as Editorial & Community Lead for Changents.com. 
 
Making the choice to go was an incredibly tough decision.  As you know, I’ve lived and breathed Changents for the past year (loving every freaking second of it) but after much deliberation and a few tears, I’ve realized that it’s time to pursue my passion for video production, which I plan to make my career.
 
Changents has changed my life for the better in a million different ways. Getting to know all of you Change Agents and the work you’re doing has been utterly amazing.  I continue to be wowed by your dedication to positive change every day and I am honored to have been able to help you, even in small ways, this year.  You guys all inspire me!
 
I also want to give a shout out to Deron and Alex, Changents's Founders, for being the best damn bosses I could hope for (I’m not lying…they are GREAT guys).
 
By way of this blog, I’d like to introduce Jennifer Simckowitz who will be stepping into my role.  Jen has been doing a rockin’ job on the PR front this year getting blog and media coverage for Change Agent stories, and she will be taking over some of my editorial and community duties starting in January. Jen’s well schooled in Change Agents and everything Changents – and has awesome social media skillz – so you guys are in great hands.
 
Thanks again for everything this year.  You are all awesome people and you can bet I will be following your stories for years to come. (cough cough, don’t slack on updating!)
