While on my run this morning I ran past a few things of garbage, remembered your story, and went back to pick them up. It was such a great feeling; thanks for the inspiration and the reminder that we're all responsible for the beauty of our planet!

I as well am passionate about this movement which should really just be common sense and care of our environment. My daughter, who is 8, went on a trail run/walk with me yesterday and we collected over 30 plastic bottles in our local creek, along with old styro-foam and one sandal. She knows that her generation has to make a difference and that kids are powerful in the progress of environmentalism. She's my Eco-Running partner! We gathered all this up in an Ammonium Nitrate bag that we found floating in the creek!!! Thanks again for raising the needed awareness, with which, we all should be born.

I have run for many, many years, and I ALWAYS stop to pick up the trash! So, thank you so much for putting passion and words around what all of us should be doing. Any movement to address environmental crises must come, first and foremost, from those of us who are out there day in and day out and enjoying being outside. Others, who spend less time outside and therefore appreciate nature less and perhaps care less, need our leadership and our commitment and passion. Did you know that the average American spends less than 15 minutes outside everyday? I heard this somewhere! Can this be true? Clearly, those of us who live more outside than in have a role to play in raising awareness and appreciation. EcoRunners is a good place to start. Count me in!

This is one of the best ideas I've heard in a really long time! Am really trying to get into running, just for my well-being, but sometimes need that tiny bit more of motivation- this can be it, benefitting my well-being and the planet's! Thanks!
