The ultra-positive scenario visions piece

Do you remember me saying there could be two ways to present the scenario visions in my last post? Well, it's time to reveal the second!

This one's actually a lot more positive than the first, because it outlines numerous ways in which we can actually achieve the ultimate goal of complete sustainability.

We can take one of the charts from our previous scenario planning process...

Scenario planning

And split Quadrant D (the most positive quadrant by far) into four.

Green scenario planning

We can then imagine different points of focus that might define these completely sustainable futures.

Sustainable futures

We could then flesh out a day in the life of each of these scenarios, showing people the technology we would use, how we would communicate, what we would eat, the homes we would live in, how we'd spend our leisure time, etc etc. They'd be very different: the only thing they'd have in common is that they'd enable a sustainable lifestyle for everyone on the planet.

Personally, I think this would make a much better video than the full range of scenarios (which included depressing visions as well as successful ones). I want the video to show people all the different ways we could live completely sustainably, and to act as a catalyst to get us there faster.

So what do you think? Know anyone who wants to take this idea on? Or can you think of a way to make it even better? I'd love to hear from you!
