Calling all West coasters (specifically San Franciscoans), Metropolis Magazine will be in your town on September 3 at the San Francisco Main Library for a tour of conversations they are calling Brilliant Simplicity. Susan Szenasey, Editor in Chief of Metropolis Magazine will be hosting the tour and speaking with designers, influencers, and professors across the coast about the "pressing need for research in design".
The event will feature a short film they put together over the last 6 months called "Brilliant Simplicity: 15 designers Research, Collaborate, Innovate" within which POWERleap will be featured. Last February, Metropolis Magazine invited me out to New York to film an interview with Susan and set up a short installation of the POWERleap tiles on the sidewalk. Now it is being broadcast in a town near you!
A special treat for me and everyone there is that I might just be able to attend the screening!
To check out more, attend the event on Sept 3. See the invite above. Also stay posted for a short film of my own on the trip!
Enjoy!
