Namaste~ My name is Heather Guay and I am Graduate Student at Cal. State Fullerton University~ MFT Counseling program. I recently traveled to Nepal and found the experience to be "transformative" to say the least~ I went last Dec. with a professor from our program who has a Non-Profit that saves girls from the sex slave trade and provides educational scholarships, and this summer I wrote a grant with a teaching colleague (Elementary Educators) and traveled on a fellowship to help explore schools and help develop Cultural Competency within ourselves and those in our school community~ I am currently writing my thesis on Transformative Travel and Women~ I'm very interested in hearing about your process~ and I wish you the best!
