Laura is a high school Civics and Law teacher, and a longtime advocate and activist. Bruce is a stay-at-home dad, who has worked professionally in the fields of both I.T. and politics. Together, they have two beautiful children. Their son has autism, and since his diagnosis they've found themselves challenged to "walk the talk" and put their combined skills into action. In 2005, they helped to found the Ontario Autism Coalition and they've been on an amazing journey ever since. We like Changents because it embodies the principle of the "Power of One." Not that one person changes the world single-handedly, but that when one person starts inspiring others, we are all motivated to bring about change on the issues we care about.
