About Me

I am originally from the DR Congo and I have been in the States for more than 10 years. I founded First Step Initiative about two and half years ago. My passion and drive to fight global poverty stem from my experience growing up in the Congo. I saw the devastation of poverty first hand. so, when I moved back to the USA, I was determined to do my part to help alleviate poverty in the communities that I left behind. I am very grateful to have this opportunity to serve the many people that our organization work with.

But I was in the DRC since December and didn't have much internet access. But I would love to touch base with you to exchange ideas. I am very passionate about increasing food security in SSA by investing in farmers as a way to increase production.   • Hi guys! I would certainly love to connect with you at some point in the near future. I am originally for the DRC and currently running a micro-finance organization in the DRC.
