About Me
I am the executive director of international affairs and visiting professor at ITESM at its campus in Zacatecas, Mexico. My work focuses primarily on rural poverty reduction and other social development enablers.
My current focus is a collaboration with Harvard KSG, MIT, and Tufts Fletcher School of L&D, under the aegis of MIT's NextLab. The goal is to transform rural pricing predictors in Zacatecas State, enable rural communities to remain economically viable and socially cohesive, while consequently retarding migration.
I also consult on long-term sustainable development programmes elsewhere in Latin America, generally through the implementation of cultural tourism, microfinance, and mobile technology initiatives. Currently I work with the Diocese of San Ignacio de Velasco in Bolivia and the Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional in this regard.
