About Me

Support Vegetarian "Ethical Choices" Green Fast Food Drive-thru Restaurants. If this plan could take off across America, starting within more health conscious green cities, it could help our environment, healthcare problems, homeless people, etc. It could probably be funded by grants due to the green & social causes, be a full or partial non-profit operation &/or a lucrative business. Even private or large business donations could support this effort. Lots of ways we can make this work!

  • http://americasthirdworld.ning.com/forum/topics/regional-collaboration - Bringing organizations and projects that benefit the homless nationwide. The mission of A3W has been to connect Orgs, Resources and people across America. It's working. Through A3W, Sean Dolan of "Pimp This Bum" has invited guest speakers on his live stream tv. A3W Network news has also helped connect Justin Farrow from Home Free Org (NYC) and Stephen Mills (ANN ARBOR MI), creator of the HUV. Justin and Stephen will be meeting this week to conspire, inspire and transpire resources for the "Houseless". The new urban dictionary terms have caused some eyebrows to raise. We have been having discussions through Facebook, messages and pages here. A3W members, Ron Austin: Center for Creative Chaos ( Tucson, AZ ) and Lisa Walker from Homeless People America (Silicon Valley CA) have also been working together in conjunction with Justin and Stephen researching ideas for an ideal HUV for Tucson and other cities. Lisa did some homework and found an article on the mobile homeless that Stephen (HUV Project) is noted on. What else can we do to better serve Organizations across the country. All of these organizations have their icons and links on the left sidebar. Can we have a discussion on collaboration and how members can be best served for their region ?

  • Hi Michelle, Great ideas, thanks! I haven't contaced Stoneyfield Farm... Do you know if their fast food plan was to include Drive-thru windows? That is the most important key to this concept since there are already fast food vegetarian places that you can walk into. & Exactly, buying locally is extremely important. Each Veggie Drive-Thru restaurant could ensure most of their food is from local growers.... excellent point & I'll add that to our list. It would be nice if a place like Whole Foods store that is already established with a food serving sort of restaurant area, could just add a drive thru window on the side of their building for a few basic items like veggie burgers, veggie burritos, juices, etc. So if the veggie drive-thru chain restaurants buy local for their food supply it would be best, thanks for all of your suggestions & hoping this will happen soon!
